“Merry Christmas” leaves out half of my family. “Happy Hanukkah” leaves out the other half. “Happy Holidays” includes them all. It means Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah. It means, “I wish you joy, no matter who you are and what you believe.”

It’s sad that you missed this point, as it’s looking to include everyone, regardless of race or religion.

We have and will continue to say Merry Christmas! Everything is already so politically correct and every thing we say and do has to be so “inclusive”, and non-offensive to this group or that group the one thing I will hold on to from my childhood is the greeting “Merry Christmas” if that somehow is less than inclusive or offends others oh well sometimes me just walking down the street as an African-American female is offensive to someone!
