I don’t know if it’s because he doesn’t like candy–he’s the only kid who asks for pretzels while trick or treating–or because he never really likes dressing up, or the sight of others dressed up disturbs him, or who knows. I’ve asked him and I don’t know that he knows.
I like Halloween, and I’ve definitely had to adjust my expectations for spending the holiday with him.
On the upside, there aren’t any arguments about eating candy since I end up with all of it!
