I’d like to suggest a few more podcasts that my kids (aged 6 – 11) dig.

One of our all time favorites is Shabam! (https://www.shabamshow.com/) A science podcast set in a zombie apocalypse. 🙂 It’s incredibly smart and funny and sounds fantastic. As it deals with zombies it may be a little scary for younger kids.

For all of the dinosaur lovers out there we recommend Aaron’s World. (http://mydogrocket.com/) What starts out as a 6 year old describing his favorite dinosaurs transforms into one of the best full cast audio dramas I’ve ever heard. Aaron and his family and friends spin a yarn full of science, robots, time travel and fun! It’s suitable for all ages and sounds like it was made in a professional studio.

Finally my kids have a small podcast of their own where they review their favorite books and then act out a scene from them. It’s been a great learning process for us and we strive to make each show as fun as the books they’re reviewing. 🙂 One of my favorite episodes is Hilo: The Great Big Boom! (https://www.podomatic.com/podcasts/bookpowerforkids/episodes/2018-02-05T06_00_00-08_00)

Thanks for shining a spotlight on these, they’ve certainly changed our drivetime for the better!
