This is our reality at the beginning of the school year (and throughout the year too.) It is particularly infuriating when often the resistance/disbelief/incomprehension/minimization comes from the parents of your child’s friends! Partly because you can’t count on others to help in the avoidance dance, our son is doing an oral immunotherapy treatment (oit.) Not enough has been written about it. I’m happy to discuss if you have any personal/journalistic interest in it.
