Hi Ankita, thanks for the comment. Your Mum would be right about those hugs. Maintaining a close relationship with those closest to you, and hugs go along with that, is one of the recommended therapies for getting over depression. It’s good to have those people in your life to help and to remind you you’re not alone. Thanks again for sharing about your experience. You’ve brought up a good point that others should be aware of.

My Mum says that hugs help, and they did help me at the time. Thankfully I’ve never taken pills, but maybe that’s only because I don’t have the pressure of kid-raising on me.
