I’m an IT Consultant. My husband is a stay-at-home Dad. I travel a lot for work. I cannot tell you how many times people (even fellow travelers) ask who takes care of my son when I’m out of town. The last time someone asked me that question, I asked them in return “who do you think cares for my child?” They guessed my mother. Seriously?

When I booked an initial visit from our house cleaning service, they wouldn’t come when only my husband was home. Consequently, I had to follow up with answers to many questions because he was the only who knew because he was responsible for those tasks.
