I’m a fan of the screen free home but with my kids in high school it’s pretty much futile. We do have a tech free kitchen, no gadgets allowed, but meals as a family are not frequent anymore. I love that feeling when we’re all together. I keep a deck of Uno in my bag now, and more than once I pulled it out for an impromptu game while we waited for food in a diner.

Family Fun is the best time, albeit it fleeting, like the sand.
