I haven’t had this problem yet. I keep my eyes on my kid for the most part, and I suspect the moms get the impression that I’m there for my kid. But I have a friend from Texas who describes relationships as different from how they are in Minnesota. I would expect more friendliness in Texas, but apparently cowardice is everywhere.

Why include the dereogatory and totally false line “I get it, though. For every one of me, there are 10 men tuning out from their families and/or looking for an opportunity to fulfill short-term sexual desire”. Why perpetuate the myth that men are unevolved animals who can’t control an impulse? That’s how I read this anyway, not sure of the intent for that line.

Agreed.
I’m not lucky enough to be a stay at home Dad, but having children full time puts me in the same predicaments. Mom’s just aren’t allowed to be around men. In public, groups, on playdates etc. The men in their lives immediately suspect them of cheating.
Your next post will be how you get labeled the creep that uses his kids to give the opportunity to stalk the next milf because well, as you know, the only option left is to sit back and not make first contact…so you look like a stalker. Why/ how have we gotten here
